Want To Get Involved?

If you want to get involved in Ham Radio, the club can offer you many opportunities to pick up your HT radio and get “on the air”. Join us during the Interior Net at 1900 on Thursday evening. Offer to mentor a new Ham or become a Certified Examiner (VE). Expand your radio skills by learning contesting.  Interested in DX?  We’ve got members that do that too.  If you are interested in emergency communications, we can loan you equipment and show you what NTS means.  Winlink, yep... absolutely !

The Meeting Agenda

Is there something you would like to present?  If so, please contact Roger or any member of the Board of Directors.

The Interior Net - NTS traffic, news and events.

The Interior Net meets every Thursday evening at 1900 using the 146.88 local repeater system.  Alternate frequencies (6m, 440cm, 146.52 simplex or winlink protocol) may be used after the normal check in.

The Saga Of Eagle  / Mentor Outreach Adventure

AARC member Neal (W7USB) traveled to the remote community of Eagle, albeit using Skype,  in an attempt to teach ham radio classes and mentor individuals who have requested information.  Read about the “Sage Of Eagle” in his continuing storyline.
