Arctic Amateur Radio Club

Established in the 1930’s, the AARC has historically been involved in using ham radio resources in support of community affairs, emergency services and special events. We operate a state-wide repeater system together with an ever-expanding APRS network covering many remote areas in interior Alaska.

License tests are held on the first Saturday of the month at 1 PM at Farthest North CB’s Plus (3451 College Road)

Army MARS COMMEX emergency radio prepardness exercise occurs Feb. 25th.  Listen to HF 3.920Mhz.  MARS operators will be actively looking for Ham radio contacts.
