April 16 2000 Sunday:  Billy Al7FQ & Benny NL7XH installed two polyphaser units in the  antenna lines.  Made notes for the system block diagrams.  Checked the system timers and calculated the on the air time.  It was just a bit over 2 hours per day.  We had used 3 hours/ day for battery calculations * this should help our power budget on the remote battery operated sites.

April 16 2000 Sunday:  About 2210 the system started to give the time and temperature macro out at the end of every transmission. Just prior to this several auto patch calls were attempted from  Delta and the signal into the repeater was very poor.  It is assumed that the touch tone entries were interpreted as commands to the controller.  It sustains the "given enough time a monkey can write a novel".  Benny NL7XH sent a reset command to the system and it appeared to fix the problem.

April 17 2000 Monday:   Early Monday morning the repeater was again putting out the macro.  I found out that it was only related to the 2 meter PL termination, instead of giving a courtesy beep it brought up the macro.  I did not see it last night because I was using the 224.88 side of the repeater.  Many lines of code were sent to the machine but nothing seemed to work until the command 053 533 037 123 was sent.  This cleared the auto routing to ports 1, 2. and 3.  It made the system fault to an error message if the temperature macro was tried but it allowed the system to work until we can figure out what to do.

April 18 2000 Tuesday:  Uploaded the entire program to the controller . It killed the auto patch and caused port 5 to give continuous time out errors.  Spent a few hours fixing these problems. Never did get the system to work as it should .. had to send up the 053 (etc commands).

April 20 2000 Thursday:  KL7XO Steve uploaded the entire program to the controller.  The system still defaulted to the temperature macro on 2 meter PL drop.  I sent up the 053 commands again.   Will have to make a complete system INT and reload the software.

April 21 2000 Friday:  NL7XH went to the site and made a complete system reset and initialization to put the e-prom to factory defaults.  Loaded the 2400 baud commands and Steve logged on and uploaded the entire software.  The system now worked as it should.
